You know, the great thing about a stomach virus is that it's a perfect time to proof porn. I opened up one of my fics to cheer myself with the kind feedback and began to read. I found all sorts of things that escaped me in many previous read-throughs: a comma splice or two, a handful of completely unnecessary words, and a 'his' that patently should have been a 'he'.

Plus, I will never eat beans or ice cream ever again now that they have formed a brick in my stomach which occasionally tries to leap up my esophagus. (Sorry, Brick! It doesn't seem to be working. Please give up now.) The beans are a loss perhaps, but without the ice cream I could become quite svelte!
