Ah! It's election time again. Fortunately candidates that participate in our voter education website are prohibited from making statements about other candidates. Since they can only talk about themselves, I only have to deal with positive information from them. I just received this gem:
FAIL!! Personally, I prefer public officials that can read simple instructions in bold print such as: "Only information about you, the candidate, will be accepted. Information referring to an opponent will not be accepted (“my opponent”, “the other candidate(s)”, I’m the only candidate who”, or “no other candidate”). Do not make any false, slanderous, or libelous statements."
In addition to being unqualified, the General Manager has proven to be a feckless incompetent manager, surviving by being micromanaged by one or more of the Board of Directors, and simply serving as a cheerleader for the generally competent staff.
