Will work for tubers
Dec. 12th, 2011 01:48 amGood things and sad things. Good things: A pasture with a passel of baby calves and their fat mammas, frosty, misty mornings, and not only have I scored stuff, I've also been getting rid of stuff and reclaimed a whole room in my home from two large pieces of furniture that just didn't really have a place. And good-bye old concrete sinks that seemed like they would make good rustic planters, but just never really happened, and farewell to the ride-on car that the boys dragged home from some other person who felt just as I do now. I also plan to take out my little rock garden and move the succulents to a planter, and generally unclutter the back yard. I looked back at pictures from a few years ago and I miss its relatively clean lines. In other news, I've been offering my HTML skillz to dahlia growers with clunky web sites in exchange for product. The Mister thinks this is very funny.
Sad things: I might grow out of Pride and Prejudice! I read a review from a lady that claims that she did, and that would just be sad. She was reviewing a new mystery novel, Death Comes to Pemberley by P.D. James. I couldn't resist ordering it, though reviews are very mixed.
