botiasHi, my name is Belloq. I enjoy yoga and am a big proponent of the Neolithic diet. It keeps me trim, and I've had a few of the ladies tell me I'm pretty handsome. Or maybe the stripes are slimming. Anyway, I'm living with these people who are pretty cosmic, but they keep going through these phases where they put these refrigerated drops in my ears, or squirt some wacky tonic down my throat. I keep telling them, 'Love will heal me. Love is all we need!' But I guess they're just not ready. They also make me wear a bling collar. Not cosmic at all, dude. Still, it's better than the shelter.
We found Belloq in the 'bargain bin' at a local shelter. There were a lot of cats all thrown in together, and it didn't take us long to discover that he had picked up a few infections. Two vets, a few hundred dollars, and three rounds of antibiotics later, I think we may have him almost un-wheezy. This latest round is twice a day for 28 days. It's fish flavored, and it turns out I can just put it on his food and he will eat it. Yay! He's such a sweetheart, climbs into your arms. If only Jones didn't hate his guts...
