This morning I had a dream that tickled me. I was in a large school-type building filled mostly with people under 25. At one end of the building, the more sensitive types began barricading and preparing for some wonderful coming. Ditto for the skinhead-types on the other end, except they were putting together a maze for some sort of X-games involving things like starving dobermans. The coming turned out to be the almighty package of Ghirardelli chocolate chips, or at least a black guy dressed up as one. I peeked at the show and saw him standing regally while much smaller packages of Nestle chips bowed down like Ewoks before his silver metallic glory. I woke up about where I made the unhappy discovery that the sensitive types had taken over the mess hall. Lunch was a tiny slice of unleavened bread garnished with spinich leaves.

Today is Alan's birthday! The birthday boy isn't awake yet and neither is the munchkin. Unfortunately, I had all of his presents shipped to my mom because I thought we would be moving any time.

Had an excellent day yesterday. We drove into Portland because I was out of pills again and I knew I could get them for free at the clinic there vs. $40 a month at the pharmacy. We were a long time there, because there were many hoops to jump through, as I'd had my exam at the one in HC, but now I have a year's worth and won't have to concern myself with it. In the waiting room I discovered that I kinda like 'Martha Stewart Living' magazine. I had an excellent laugh at the face Alan made when I confessed this on returning to the car. Then we went to the orgasmic fish store. I always tell myself that I'm not going to buy anything. I picked up 3 B. histrionica and some tough plants and got some advice on moving my fish which was very reassuring. I also overheard someone talking about the 'World's Most Beautiful Clown Loach', so I demanded to be shown this marvel, and verily he was lovely. Someone was trading him and another fish in, so of course, he was extolling their virtues. For dinner we had the most incredible Thai food I have ever had by a very large margin. The flavors and textures were just amazing. This morning, when I noticed a spot of sauce on my sweatshirt, I stuck my nose on it and inhaled deeply. Mmmmmm. A very good day.
