Well, we're heading back the way we came, briefly anyway. All efforts to procure orthodontic services down here were met with the prospect of long delays and introductory letters hinting at great expense and painful incovenience. Ah well, so it goes. Ambrosial Thai fud here we come.

I love yard sales. I'm more selective these days about what I bring home from them though. I noticed when I held my own yard sale that most of the stuff had come from same, and I have wondered ever since if there is a current of yard sale stuff that flows through a community, going from one to another, occasionally washing up at a thrift store or two before settling gently to rest amid shell casings and discarded underwear at the end of some back road. :P Anyway, I went to one up the street on Friday and noticed a ton of romance paperbacks, boxes and boxes, .10 a piece. Almost right away I found the anthology I just sold on ebay for $12.75, and when I pulled The Mackenzies out of the box I thought, "Jackpot". My dreams of riches were deflated slightly when I checked prices, the stuff I found will bring good money, but in most cases they weren't the ones that were bringing in the really big dollars. Why didn't the old biddie buy The Mackenzie Family instead? Anyway, I will make some money and probably enjoy it way too much.
