I just planted 8 daffodil bulbs. I've probably set myself up for disaster again. For one thing I got the dregs of the bulbs this late in the season. For one variety I took the last four in the bin period. No getting picky about the condition. For planting I followed the rule of thumb which is to plant about twice the bulb height deep. Then I read the inserts and discovered that one variety is recommended to be planted 1" down and the other six inches. Guess we'll see how they all do at 4". *shrug* Found a great mail-order place for herbs and perennials. Still no aquarium plants, but the pain is fading along with the expectations.
