Ha ha, Alan is in the shower. He's all nekkid and steamy wet and stuff. But that's beside the point. I have access to the computer. But what to do with it. The aquarium plant saga continues, I ordered some aquarium plants online from some unknown-to-me company in Tea, SD. Alan suggested that all the positive ratings that the company got (6) were from their relatives. I disagreed. I think that was the population of the town, all the relatives are probably in prison. We shall see... I dug myself another gardening area, and planted a bunch of seeds in it. I was thinking I would make it my 'volunteer' garden. I planted seeds I'd collected from plants beside the road, and seeds of other plants that are on the border between plant and weed. Many people like them, but they reseed themselves enthusiastically so you find 'volunteers' throughout your garden. Clover, borage, Nigella, Vervain, Violas, Bachelor Buttons, Rattlesnake Grass, we'll see what comes up. If I go to Arcata soon I'll have to see if that lone Gaillardia that was obviously volunteering itself in the cement-like dirt surrounding a tire shop is still there. I doubt it, but you never know. It would also be an excellent locale for my wooly apple mint.

Beautiful day, I'm a lucky dog, lucky dog.
