Amazing Snail Kite

A few summers ago, I was fascinated by someone's windsock, if that's what it was. It was maybe 20 feet long, very thin, and striped black and white. It moved in the breeze as though it were alive. After a bustling couple of days, I've spent today mostly in front of the computer; the wind has inspired me to see if I could find one of my own. No luck so far, but look! A giant snail kite! No really, it's cool.

There are many gorgeous 20 foot windsocks that make me want to go throw up a flag pole in the back yard, but they are hundreds of dollars and nothing like that serpentine banner I remember.
