Reading Material: Bloodsucking Fiends: A Love Story by Christopher Moore
+ asst. romance novels and children's books

Bloodsucking Fiends was cute. I say this partly 'cause I can't imagine that was the author's intention, and I'm a bit of a butt, but in the main because it's completely true. The author being male, instead of 'Woman Without Particularly Large Breasts Snaffles Alpha Male' we have 'Dangerous Redhead Eschews Ancient Sexy Mysterious Vampire for Scrawny Grocery Clerk (Puts Out On First Date)' But wait-- she's a night stalker and he's a night stocker. It was destiny! *smack* Hee. It was fun, but I don't think I'll recommend it to my mom. I don't think it's her sort of thing.

Feeling better. Went over to Mom's yesterday and she fixed breakfast and watched Sense and Sensibility with me. That's love. Searching for a boy's name. Odds are 51-49 I won't need one, but I would feel a bit guilty not having one on hand.

I closed out the P.O. Box today, as it seemed rather useless to me. Alan is complaining that 'Strawberry Lane' doesn't seem very macho. "Neither is your mousing callus, my friend, get over it already."

The comment about the odds of needing a boy's name made me giggle; the comment about the mousing callus, ditto. :)

Bloodsucking Fiends sounds vaguely familiar... I don't know why, I'm pretty sure I've never read it. I suppose it was density destiny. ;)
