Today I shoveled a truckload of manure onto my front lawn aka weedy hillside. Mark said he'd never seen someone so happy as I picked through my newly acquired fertilizer for stripe-y manure worms to throw in my worm bin. I compared its light fluffy goodness to drifts of new-fallen Rocky Mountain snow. I made a really delightful mess. I don't really want to do too much putting down roots here, yet I have a finite number of springtimes. I don't want to waste any of them.
