Six Reasons I'm stuck in the 80's
  1. I still have the same cat
  2. I still have the same man
  3. I still wear scrunchies
  4. I would have a swarovski crystal hanging from my rear-view mirror if I didn't know it would get broken
  5. Said rear-view mirror is attached to an '87 hatchback
  6. I still want Pretty Woman hair

Hee! I still wear scrunchies around the house, but usually not out of it. My friends laugh when I do; they actually preformed an intervention on that very subject a couple years ago! Scrunchies need to come back in style. How pathetic am I that I'm susceptible to peer pressure on this one!

Hee! I appreciate the solidarity even if it's behind closed doors. Now I know why all my female friends live hundreds of miles away...

Please! Scrunchies transend mere decades. They are classic. Wear them proudly! Banana clips are more questionable, IMHO, although I can't live without them.

I still wear scrunchies, too. Not the massive Christmas wreath-sized versions, but the "regular" scrunchies. They still sell them, so we're not TOO stuck. :)

I think I was wearing a fairly low key one at at the con, but I do have some fluffier ones. Note to self: make some new, sleek 'scrunchies of the new millennium'

OMG I sooo still want Pretty Woman hair. My husband always teases me for being stuck in the 80's. I dragged him to a club that was having 80's night. I was really excited until we got there and were the only ones there who were old enough to remember the 80's, but a few drinks later I didn't care.

Now I feel so old, that they are having 'retro nights' for my youth. :D
My mom was telling me that the tight-ankled jeans are coming back and OMG the big hip belts over sweaters are coming back. :o

god, i still want pretty woman hair! i could probably do it too, what with the texas humidity and all. but i think it'd actually come out like a perm gone way wrong than sexy julia roberts wild women do and they don't regret it hair.

OMG I listened to that soundtrack sooo many times. I still have some of the songs in my favorite mix. King of Wishful Thinking is probably my fav. :)

King of Wishful Thinking was prob my fav too!!

although i did start singing It Must've Been Love very loudly while i was watching the movie with a friend the other day. i think i really freaked her out...still not sure if it was that i knew all the words or just my horrible singing voice that made her twitchy.
