That could be because I am sick with a cold and so are all three of my small children. It could be because my ancient cat is in hospital AGAIN racking up hundreds of dollars in vet bills, as is my ancient car. But no, I weep for another reason entirely.

I got just too much LOL from this post. And the frat boy fic... OMG it is bad!Fic like Man O' War was a race horse. It beats every bad!fic I've yet read by a dozen lengths and it's not even moistening its limpid orbs. The ENTIRE THING is quotable, I swear.

ETA: Am making good progress on Persephone Ch... 9 is it? Of my quick and dirty, 3-chapter, porny, virgin kink crack!fic. It's mostly all sex tho, so many of you may want to skip.

Sorry to hear you're all sick, this year seems to be particularly bad for colds. Sounds miserable!

Aw, don't be embarrassed. I like to call Persephone names, but that's only because I have a huge crush on it. I put a lot of thought into it; it may be a crack!fic, but it's not _just_ a crack!fic.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the link to Stoney's post! I ended up literally sobbing from laughing so hard, so violently that my dogs came over to see if I was okay.

But golly, I may have to give Chapter 9 a good going over in my bunk a pass, and dip back into the story when you're in a more wholesome and literary mood.

Hope you feel better soon. It's so hard when you're sick along with your kids. If I could, I would bring you hot soup and clean your house. And when your kids were finally all asleep, I would serve you a hot toddy and read you some really great smut.

I know! I can't read it right now, because it hurts too much to laugh uncontrollably. I swear it gets funnier on revisiting as some of the disbelief has faded, or maybe I'm just increasingly delirious and feverish.
