See, I used to think I was lucky not to live in one of THOSE countries where the elite get elected by using the superstitions and tribalism of their electorate against them and then clean out the till.

That was until George got elected by playing on people's fears of gays, uppity women, and other groups of people whom studies have shown are having much more fulfilling sex than they are, started a war on false pretenses that filled his cronies' pockets with the trillions in taxpayer dollars--and now looks to be moseying on out, leaving a devastated economy behind.

Not only does George NOT have to party in exile in Morocco, my fellow countrymen seem very likely to be signing up for more. :| Or rather worse, if Palin ends up president. *cries*

I've been seeing many articles about how Bush has lost a lot of favor with Americans. But it doesn't jibe with the fact that he was freakin' re-elected. You can't tell me that people who voted for him in 2003 have suddenly changed their mind over the last 4 years.

I just don't see how McCain/Palin can be any good for this country. She scares me - although she might be a good neighbor in a small town, she shouldn't be helping to run the country.
