botiasI think my fics are always the same fic. Persephone: Heroine thinks Hero is foul creature of pure evil. Circumstances not of her choosing (but involving lots of snark, and excellent, if somewhat animalistic, sex) give her an opportunity to find out otherwise. Oh, and the Hero is pretty, superhuman and evil and has shiny white hair. Between Two Evils: ditto
And now I keep getting this plot bunny where Allura is all in love with Keith and set to marry him. Then Keith croaks or something right after Allura joyfully accepts his proposal, so Allura decides to accept Lotor's many proposals for the good of her planet and because she knows she will Never Love Again. Lotor is in seventh heaven and pays all sorts of court to her. But then he figures out her martyr game and totally withdraws from her out of hurt pride and jealousy. Allura, who enjoyed the attention much more than she would like to admit, starts to pursue him (while telling herself any number of justifications for doing so) and encounters much aggravation and resistance, but eventually wins him over.
Which... seemed like the same sort of story to me as Between Two Evils to me sans the kidnapping, but actually I guess it's genuinely different.
Plus I should write some really unapologetic non-con. >:) That would be different.
