I got a real hair cut for the first time in about 12 years, and it was awesome! So cute! And I have new product, which is a miracle elixer for my fine, curly hair. And then I went back for a trim and disaster!!

The first cut looked kind of like this:



She changed the shape of the cut, and it left me feeling increasingly unsatisfied and blah, and that's when I realized... I HAVE JOYCE SUMMERS' HAIR



*cries* Now don't get me wrong, Joyce is a lovely lady, but... but... *wails*

OK, I'm over it. It will grow out. *sob* It's better than looking like my driver license picture every day, which I was doing there for a bit. I'll just have to console myself with writing alien abduction pornography until it does. Avoiding other projects with looming deadlines has led me to get about five pages done of a L/A non-con one-shot that I'm pretty pleased with. I should be posting that soon.

Oh, honey! *pets you* I bet that if you give it a few days, it'll behave in a less alarming fashion. But ugh, that's not a fun feeling. I stupidly got my hair cut at the beauty school once, and I was many months in recouping my losses from that little error in judgment.

OTOH, the mom hair is nowhere near as distressing as the mom jeans (http://www.hulu.com/watch/10333/saturday-night-live-mom-jeans). There's no coming back from that!
