Apparently there are different regional styles of bullfighting. We're more familiar with the bloody one, popularized by Ernest Hemmingway, I understand. This is the Andalusian style, called recortes. I find it more brave then the other sort where the bull is half dead from blood loss by the time the matador confronts him. That's why the bulls in this vid have their heads up instead of down and are much more frisky.
