I'm kinda fickle, I guess

Elena stopped being my hero as soon as she started chasing after Stefan just like he hasn't been a murderous dick for months. Of course, it would be nice if she could see that either of the Salvatores would chuck her over Mystic Falls in a vampire minute in order to save the other. After all, another doppelganger will come along in a couple hundred years. Oh well, she seemed like she was doing really well for a while there; maybe this was just a moment of weakness. But! GORGEOUS DRESS. Formalwear hasn't made any kind of fashion sense to me for a few decades--they looked like satin sacks with spaghetti straps, but now it's coming back around to something like my antiquated tastes.

Anywayz, even if the show is lame, watching allows me to enjoy these TV.com recap things:

I find the entire show very entertaining but my least favorite character is Elena! I'm with Damon, though, she looked great in that dress. I thought it was hilarious the entire town was able to find formal wear in less than a week. Mystic Falls is a fucked up but very classy place. They must stock elbow length opera gloves at the Dollar Store!

That TV.Com recap was hilarious. I laughed at the mock up of Damon's note. P.S. I drew this was great.

Hah! It was a 'same day' invite. But with formal and/or costume events occurring every other week, I expect this sort of time challenge just adds zest. I was kind of liking Elena there for a bit, but now it's like the blinders are off.

The dresses were amazing although the notion that Elena just happened to have that sitting in her closet is hilarious. And yeah, she's being just idiotically stubborn over the notion that Stefan and her are still a couple.

Elena was whiplash-inducing this week

I know! What is up with that? Ah, well. TVD has surprised me before by making the unaccountable make sense in light of later revelations. I can only hope this is another one of those times. At least Rebecca is having fun.
