(no subject)

Had a visit from Alan's mom and her friend Bett-Bett yesterday. Now, I had read a theory that people often reassure the father that he bears some resemblance to his child (and people do do this whatever the reason) because men need this reassurance because they can't be sure (DNA testing aside) that the child is genetically theirs. This was not the first thing that popped into my mind when Bett-Bett said 'Whooo-eee he's squattin' to go poop jus' like his daddy did' (repeat three times loudly with slight alterations of phrasing and it will be just like you were there). Bett-Bett is colorful.

We have a logo now and business cards even. :) Today we go and get licensed.

Shipping the last of my first batch of auctions today. One of my bidders was a chatty one. For each item of mine that she bid on she sent a chatty little email to me, and in her final email as she rode out of sight with her Japanese/US keyboard: "Good God, I'm a happy camper! :-)" Well, hallelujah sister!
