Well, the committee was unenthusiastic and hidebound, and the people skills of my cohort could most politely be described as curmudgeonly. I'm not really sure how well it went. But, I passed out all my brochures, hopefully I will hear more. They're going to apoint a committee to look into it...

Good things are headed my way. I've reserved Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West and Bloodsucking Fiends: A Love Story as well as the latest from one of my favorite romance authors from the library. Libraries are just too cool. Long may they live. I found some really cool book club editions of Jane Austen at the used book store, which led me to search the internet for more titles (unsuccessfully), which led to some unknown person's top 5, which led me to wickedness and bloodsucking fiends. Mom's been wanting me to help her find some entertaining books, maybe I will be able to recommend these to her. Since she reads bestsellers and fantasy and I read romance and non-fiction, there's generally not a lot we can do for one another.
