Happy Birthday to Connor! Two happens to be his favorite number right now coincidentally enough. I have an excuse to buy him a gifty! I generally don't have much excuse because his grandma showers him with toys. Most recently giant stuffed animal number 4, and a slide. Ditto with clothes. Hopefully she won't prove to be such a soft touch later when he starts asking for things, which he hopefully won't do much since we don't have TV. I told her we were expecting last night and that went very well.
I really shouldn't talk about money in my journal because I'm either bragging or whining, usually the former, and that's no good. *wrinkling nose*
So much to do today. Connor has social engagements, and I'm really behind on housework and working out having not been very energetic lately, not to mention having these huge blocks of my time taken up by bringing home the TVP. Working out more would help me have more energy, but this is still counter-intuitive for me. Connor and Alan both need haircuts, and the fishtank still hasn't been replumbed yet. The battle between single and multi-cellular plants has not been decided. We keep shifting it to the multi-celled camp and hopefully they will be able to hold their own sooner or later. I have other measures that I haven't put into effect yet.
Blah, blah, blah. Stood in line at the grocery store last night and noticed the guy in front of me was buying a package of Grecian Formula and a bottle of Jack Daniels. Paaarty! (Old Thing I Learned: Grecian Formula works for everyone because all human hair colors are the result of different levels of the 'same' pigment.)
