I am afraid of the dark. I am also afraid of my nightlight. The schnoz-first-into-the-wall incident inspired me (read: gave me an excuse; I like to buy home-improvement stuff even more than office supplies) to get some of those emergency/night lights that come on when the power goes out. The ones I got were cool retro-silver/chrome lookin' things with an LED ring around the reflector that serves as a nightlight. I was expecting this ring to be classic LED aqua, or perhaps a nice blue, but it turned out to be hellfire red, and when I walk nonchalantly past them in the night I keep thinking of that movie "Within 24 hours of seeing the ring they were all... Dead!" Eeeee! This is pathetic, I know. I'm well on my way to getting over it.
