I keep reading in fic about Buffy getting sent to the outer reaches of the solar system via her cervix being prodded by Spike's generous schlong. I'm fine with the space exploration (God yes), but the cervix thing always niggles, because the cervix is not located at the end of the vagina. It's three maybe four inches deep. Making the length of Spike's mighty cervix tickler... well, let's just say that it's clearly from NASA's "smaller, faster, cheaper" era, Mars Rover not Space Shuttle. But the real tragedy, of course, is what this means for Angel and Riley who (according to the law of the Spuffyverse) must therefore not even be escaping Earth's gravitational pull. *pats them*

ETA: Please don't anybody be sad :( There's something good up there in the farther reaches of the solar system; it just ain't the cervix.

I would swear there's some rather deeper spot that's nice to have nudged which I'm assuming is the sensation that fic writers are trying to describe with the cervix reference. I might be attributing sensations to deep penetration that are actually the result of leverage on the G spot though. More research is clearly necessary. *resolve face*

*shrug* The language is a bit like the various activities, different strokes for different folks. :) Makes me think of that scene in Sneakers where Robert Redford's girlfriend tries to convince a guy that she is aroused by hearing the word passport. :)
